The New Zealand Secondary Schools Keelboat Championship is a School Sport New Zealand-sanctioned national championship held on Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour in the Emirates Team New Zealand Elliott 7 Fleet. Running since 2007, the regatta attracts up to 20 secondary school teams from across New Zealand and is one of the country’s premier youth keelboat events.

The 2027 Championship will be held 19–21 February 2027. The revised dates avoid clashes with other national secondary school sailing events while creating a unique opportunity for competitors. As an Official Event Partner of The Ocean Race Auckland 2027, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron will provide participating schools with the opportunity to experience The Ocean Race Auckland Race Village, including optional educational activities focused on ocean science, sustainability, innovation and technology.
