Kawau Tree Planting Days

RNZYS’ Kawau Reforestation Project is in it’s third year, so far more than 2000 native trees have been planted on the grounds surrounding Lidgard house, restoring native flora and fauna to Kawau Island.

Join your Squadron Community this year to leave a sustainable legacy for the future, join a tree planting day!

Family & friends are welcome, water taxi from Sandspit (at own cost) or bring your own boat. Enjoy a hard-earned sausage sizzle and a day on Kawau Island. There is an overnight cabin stay option nearby for $50pp
