On Friday 1st November 2024, RNZYS Members together with Emirates Team New Zealand members and Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei officially welcomed the America’s Cup back to its home at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron after another successful defence campaign by Emirates Team New Zealand at the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona.

This marks the third consecutive, and fifth America’s Cup win for Emirates Team New Zealand.
