Here at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, we have a variety of courses available for those keen to “learn the ropes” with friends, family or colleagues. This is a great way to get out and enjoy the Waitemata Harbour, even if you’re just keen to enjoy a day of sailing and to find out more about what’s involved. And you get to learn from the best, and check out the America’s Cup while on location!

Boat Cost Day rate – Up to 8 hours

$1,400 (members) / $1,540 (Non-members)
Maximum 7 students per boat
Includes: 1 x boat, 1 x Coach, lifejackets and required safety gear.

Courses Available

These courses can be structured over 2 full days or broken into weeknight sessions
Level 1 – Introduction to Keelboat Sailing
Level 2 – Race Crew Training
Level 2 – Cruising course
Level 3 – Spinnakers
