Since 1987, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron Youth Training Programme has been the stepping stone for professional sailors, providing world class match racing training and launching the careers of Ocean Racers, World Match Racing Tour, SailGP, Olympians, America’s Cup athletes and professionals across the marine industry.

In 2027, the Youth Training Programme celebrates 40 years, and we are keen to connect with as many former, and current YTP athletes to celebrate this milestone!

We are planning a 40th Anniversary Regatta and Party in 2027, so if you were involved, as a graduate, a coach, or race management (including umpires) please complete the below form so we can keep you in the loop with all the details.
