It is the people who make a club and a community – and we are incredibly proud of the unwavering support our members have shown our club and Emirates Team New Zealand as they defended the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona.
With late night viewings here at the club, members dialing into all the action first thing in the morning at home, and over 670 members travelling to Barcelona to support the team, we could not be prouder of our club, and our members who make up this incredible community.
Your support, passion, enthusiasm and commitment to our team and our clubhouse has been invaluable and we appreciate your support.

To our sister club Real Club Náutico de Barcelona – Thank you for being so welcoming, for making your home our home away from home, and for making our members so very welcome. Your hospitality has been incredible and we thank you for opening your doors so warmly to us.
On behalf of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, I also extend our congratulations to Emirates Team New Zealand, our representative team, on their outstanding victory in defending the 37th America’s Cup and achieving the “3-PETE”.

I am also delighted to confirm that I have accepted a challenge for the 38th America’s Cup – this challenge was from the Royal Yacht Squadron, whose representative team will now become the Challenger of Record for the 38th America’s Cup.
More information regarding the 38th America’s Cup will be released in due course.
